Admiring London once should be on the to do list of any traveler’s. Built to mark London’s millennium celebrations in 2000, the London Eye is Europe’s largest observation wheel. Its individual glass capsules offer the most spectacular views of the city as you embark on a circular tour rising 443 feet above the Thames. The journey lasts 30 minutes, often quicker than the time spent lining up for your turn. If you can, reserve your time in advance. The best option is to skip the line completely with a London Eye: Skip-the-Line Ticket. This advance ticket allows you to take a flight at any time on the day you plan to visit.
Capitoline Museums – It may have taken the Romans 400 years to build the Capitoline Museums, after they were designed in 1536 by Michelangelo, but the wait was worth it. This outstanding collection of art and archeological museums, which started with a papal donation in the 15th century, can be found at Piazza del Campidoglio atop Capitoline Hill. The collections include medieval and Renaissance art, old Roman statues and jewels.
Most rated Vancouver points of interest : Once mainly industrial, Granville Island is now a thriving center of activity with a relaxed and distinctive atmosphere. Artists and retailers have moved into converted warehouses alongside houseboats, theaters, galleries, and restaurants. The Granville Island Public Market is one of the most popular attractions selling fruit and vegetables, seafood, and a great variety of other specialties as well as ready-to-eat items. Not truly an island, the arts hub is linked to residential areas by one road and footbridges to the south, and to the Downtown peninsula (across False Creek) by ferry.

Africa is a fabulous destination if you are looking for raw wildlife feeling. Cape Town is just gorgeous: beach, mountain, winelands . the options of things to do and places to see are endless. Spend three days exploring all of its wonder before flying up to Joburg to go into the bush. We love Kruger for countless reasons, not least its easy accessibility from Johannesburg (a pleasant drive of about five hours), wide range of habitats and fantastic wildlife. It’s also home to the ‘Big Five’, giraffe, zebra, many species of antelope, hyaena and more, making for wonderful game sightings. After spending some time there, you head off into Zimbabwe, exploring the ancient architecture of the Zimbabwe Ruins, marvelling at the granite outcrops of Matobo, game viewing in Hwange, with its enormous elephant population, and then heading up to Vic Falls. It thunders, its awe-inspiring, and you can find any activity your heart desires in and around Vic Falls.
Best choices, from my point of view for travel destinations that i think are a must see. Northern Europe and particularly Finland is a wonderful travel destination. Northern Lights in Scandinavia – This marvel in the sky is one of the most sought after phenomenons. The lights are a collision between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth’s atmosphere creating an array of green, pink, and violet colors. It is a must see on many travelers bucket lists and if you’re able to travel to one of the scandinavian countries you may be able to cross it off yours whether it be by viewing it on the back of a dog sled, soaking in the blue lagoon, or snow shoe hiking to view it.
Do you know that you can study abroad, even on scholarship without IELTS or TOEFL? When applying for studies in schools abroad, one of the toughest hurdles to overcome for admission into a good university is the TOEFL or the IELTS exam requirement. Expectedly, many international students who are from non-English speaking backgrounds and have had very little training in the language, don’t possess the level of English proficiency to qualify the TOEFL or the IELTS tests. Additionally, these tests incur more costs to the already piling expenses a student has to pay for quality education. See extra details on scholarships for nigerian students to study abroad.
Mexico is a fabulous place if you are searching for adventure and ancient history feeling. There are several places to go whale watching in Mexico, but none is so spectacular than San Ignacio Lagoon. Located off the coast of Baja California Sur, the lagoon is the winter home to a number of Eastern Pacific gray whales. During the winter months, gray whales come to give birth in the shallowest parts of the lagoon. San Ignacio Lagoon is now Latin America’s largest wildlife sanctuary, and there are many guided boat tours that allow visitors to get up close and personal with the gray whales.
Downtown is one of the many places in Cancun most tourists seem to skip in exchange for beach visits or other activities. But if you want a more authentic feel of Cancun away from the Hotel Zone (which sometimes feels like the Vegas strip) then you’ll want to head downtown. Downtown is home to a plethora of activities and restaurants offering a look into local life, a trip here is one of the better things to do in Cancun for sure. If you are looking to do a bit of souvenir shopping Mercado 28 (Market 28) is the perfect place. Mercado 28 is a flea-market style shopping area that has an abundance of handmade items, pottery, t-shirts, and souvenirs. Expect to bargain with the shop owners, most of them can be aggressive with their pricing but if you are willing to haggle you might just manage to find yourself a great deal.
